What is it like for a little
one to experience birth -- to move from mother's womb into the air and
into gravity?
What is it like when you move
house or start a new job? Imagine what a bigger change it was when
YOU were born and took
your first breath!
There are ways we can help
babies make an easier transition.
A bonus benefit of an easier
birth for baby
is an easier birth for mother!

New classes sessions for parents begin every eight weeks, from before your child's birth, at birth, and throughout infancy and toddlerhood, to age 3+.
Founded and directed by
lively, kind, master teacher Gail Root,
Parents'
Place has experienced continual expansion in all its 15 years.
In addition to the regular
age-group classes, parents can gain parenting expertise while their child
does art or learns about science. Or parents can come to classes
that focus on sibling rivalry, postpartum depression, empty nest syndrome,
breastfeeding, baby massage, choosing a pre-school, and other topics, including
two prenatal classes, Great Expectations and
Birth
