Major accomplishments associated with this task are: Checked all servers to insure neccessary components are available.

2) Research Dell web site concerning additional items needed (tape drive). [Completed]

Major accomplishments associated with this task are: Decision to purchase Dell PV132T LTO system and 50 LTO tapes; 4 300GB drives. $ 12,947

3) Research Trend Micro site for appropriate software and licensing to be ordered._ [Completed]

Major accomplishments associated with this task are: Selected SMB with 150 licenses.

4) Research ArcServe site for items to be ordered. [Completed]

Major accomplishments associated with this task are: Decision to upgrade to ArcServe 11.5 (free with maintenance), planned purchase of 10 backup agents. $1,521

Research of neccessary components for servers, virus protection software and backup.]

2) What resources did you use this week (e.g., people, money, equipment, systems, or software)? People Did you add new resources? No What was your learning?

3) What research did you perform this week that was assisting and/or literature based? Dell web site (see 'Other' below) What was your learning? Differences between LTO and SDLT tape media. LTO is $10 cheaper per tape and holds almost 100GB more. The transfer rate for LTO is double that of SDLT.
