The Power of Milk:

With all emphasis put on supplements (protein powders, amino acids, etc.), you hear very little about possibly THE BEST dietary supplement available - MILK.  You don't have to search for a health food store to buy it, and it is relatively cheap to buy.  In fact, vending machines in the cafeteria & snack carts  are stocked with 3-4 different flavors!  To quote Dr. Randall Strossen, author of Super Squats, he says:

"Milk, without question was and still is the food of first choice for a non-drug approach to bulking up.  It is high in protein, rich in other nutrients, easy to consume in large quantities.  Also, the proof in the pudding- everyone on a consistent heavy squat program who drank enough of it gained weight. Yes, everyonewe've ever heard of!  The first time I tried this program I was a construction worker for the summer.  I lugged my thermos filled with milk to work every morning.  I ended up gaining 15 pounds in six weeks."

Here's further testimony from Mr. Doug Hepburn, one-time world's strongest man:

"There are certain foods that I place above all others in reguards to promoting muscluar size and strength.  One of the formost of these is MILK.  Milk, a near perfect food, contains the basic food elements necessary for complete body nourishment.  Moreover, milk can be consumed in quanity witout overloading the digestive system.  When in heavy training, I consume at least 2-3 quarts a day."

Enough said, the potential results of drinking milk are right there for every athlete who is serious about building bigger and stronger muscles!  Drink at least 2 quarts (a 1/2 gallon) a day, with all meals and even with between meal snacks.  That $1.50 a day you invest will be the best decision you've ever made as an athlete.  Don't drink milk in place of food, but in addition to your meals!!!

MILK + LIFTING = SIZE & STRENGTH
