Spotsylvania

I think Spotsylvania was my favorite stop on this tour. It was humbling to stand in these beautiful fields and realize how many young men were killed or wounded in this scenic location.


At this site near the Bloody Angle, a 22-inch oak tree was cut down by small arms fire.
