While we were expecting more Banjo-Threeie info in the E3, Rare surprised eager gamers
with their newest project: Banjo-Kazooie Advanced (Grunty's Revange.) Yes, this powerful
handheld will soon be playing the next Banjo-Kazooie game. BK Advanced is the next game
in the series but not in their story. Grunty's Revange is not set after Banjo-Tooie but
instead it is based on the idea of "what if Gruntilda's sisters never came to her rescue?"
Well, she would've been left under the rock until Klungo had comed up with a way to get
her out. Due to this delay Grunty's body decayed even more leaving Klungo no other option
but to transform her into a revange-seeking robot: Mecha Grunty. According to the info out
there Banjo and Kazooie will have the BK and BT moves along with some new ones. To keep the
3D style Rare turned this game into a over head game. You will still be collecting Jinjos,
Jiggies etc. Will they sitll have all the egg and ice key deal?
The plot is somewhat confusing but looks O.K. Making B-K Advanced the sequel of B-T
would've also made sense to me but maybe it would interfere with the rest of the game's
story. I wonder if B-K Advanced's ending will match up with B-T's so that they both
fit with Banjo-Threeie or will Rare make a completely different set of stories for
the Gameboy Advanced games? That... would be really messed up.
