| Once again, we are back with another issue of dcs4d. The absence of scorching heat and the presence of clouds and cool breezes has made life much easier at campus. As far as all the gossip is concerned, a lot of events have been occurred at Dcs while the rest are yet to happen. The ACM ProQuest 2004 will kick off with the quiz competition during the first week of October. This competition will last a few days with the programming competition following after the quiz. Students' week is always eagerly anticipated during September as well. We are looking forward to seeing a flurry of colors during color week. The sports activities will also be conducted during that time. Speaking of sports, cricket fever is at its peak this month. Pakistan faced a major disappointment losing to Australia in the tri nation series. Lets hope to see better results during the ICC champions' trophy. Last but not the least, the most important event that occurred was the inauguration of the UBIT building. The chief guest of the ceremony was the minister for science and technology, Dr Atta-ur-Rehman. |
