CRAVED FOREVER... By Ateka Rizvi |

You can mock at me, you can laugh at me, You can close your eyes if you don’t want to see. If you’re not comfortable, you can try to hide, But you can’t change my feelings that lie deep inside. You say you are strong but I know you are weak, I’ll write only that what I seek. So if you want you can run, but eventually you’ll hear, My words that can’t be erased, these words you can’t tear.
You can stare in my eyes, and then look away, You can pay me no attention; you can have your way. You can live your life now, mine you’ll remember, You will fight with yourself; with my words, you’ll tamper. Today you can insult me, my words you can ignore, But tomorrow you’ll miss me; you’d want my words more. So if you want you can run, but you’ll learn to bear, My words that can’t be erased, my words you can’t tear.
Today you don’t want me, but tomorrow you’ll need me, My feelings you can’t handle, but you’ll let them be. Because you can’t change my heart, but my words can change yours, My words can lift you high, my words can hold you strong. Today you give up on me, tomorrow you’ll regret, My words, you’ll remember, they won’t let you forget. So if you want you can hide, but won’t be able to bear, The strength of my words, the words you can’t tear.
I can see you are lonely; you are shifting gears, You are heading towards me, turning down your fears. You are trying to slow down and yet you run, You run from the silence, from the nothing that deafens. You try to ignore my words, words you can’t tear. But they haunt you tonight, my words you can hear. So kill me if you must; but I’ll say it anyways, These words you can’t kill, and these words you can’t erase.
