Welcome back folks,

DCS4D is back after a long awaited break, I hope you all are enjoying your vacations. It feels good to be talking to you again. We welcome the touring students and the teachers back from their vacation from up hills. I hope u all had a great time.

I am sure alot of final year students by now have decided about their future plans will be since only a semester is left before their degree is over. However before that actually happens, lets make the most of our time left here and make sure that the memories we take with us remain with us when we venture into another dimension of life. Enough with the sentimental talk now!

The SIGs this year got off to a relatively good start though not as successful as previous years because of the hesitant response by the ACM leads. The students were pretty enthusiastic and what was surprising was the healthy response we received by students outside our DCS. Since it was open to all, anyone could attend the SIGs this year. Some very good course outlines were provided this year which is one of the reasons that attracted so many students. The unavailability of the leads this month caused some issues due to which classes could not be conducted as scheduled. We hope that ACM officials shall deal this matter seriously.
