Episode 36 (Season 3 premiere) "Like A Virgin"
-- On the way home from Philadelphia, DDawson meets a young woman, Eve. When we
return to Capeside, Jack is still living at Grams' house with Jen, seemingly as
comfy as an old marriage, and in an act of rebellion, Jen tries out for the
cheerleading squad with great sarcastic wit. Dawson tries to avoid Joey, who has
also changed over the summer. Eve's intentions soon become clear, to change
Dawson's life by ending his virginity. Pacey comes up with a wild plan to earn
money, in order to clean up a mess. Joey attempts to get Dawson back, by using
her "wild side".
Episode 37 "Homecoming"
-- Dawson puts his filmmaking skills too use for the school's football team for
homecoming. Pacey and Joey go to bring Andie back to Capeside. Andie avoids
being completely alone with Pacey. Jack joins the football team and with the new
quarterback, Henry Parker, becomes the star wide receiver. Jen, in her new role
as head cheerleader, leads the homecoming pep rally for Capeside High.
Episode 38 "None of the Above"
-- Eve presents Dawson with a completedd copy of the current year's PSAT test. As
soon as Dawson shares this news with Pacey, Joey, Jen, Jack and Andie, the test
mysteriously vanishes. No one admits to taking it, and Dawson is consumed by the
need to find out which of his friends could have stolen the test.
Episode 39 "Home Movies"
-- Dawson to film a news story about Jaack going against stereotypes as a gay
high school football player. Pacey convinces Joey to cut class; Principal Green
catches them. Their punishment is to show school spirit by being the mascot, the
Capeside Mule, at the homecoming game. Andie deals with her guilty conscience
over cheating on the PSATs, especially when Principal Green speaks to her about
a confidential matter. Meanwhile, Jen is aggravated after finding out that her
squad auctioned a kiss from her at homecoming for $500. Jen finds a surprise in
the person that won the auction.
Episode 40 "Indian Summer"
-- Dawson doubles his efforts to find oout that Eve really is, his efforts come
to a surprising conclusion. Joey is disgusted when she finds out that her boss
Rob has a date with Pacey's ex, who seems to have fallen for him. She follows
them on their date to the movies and tries s to talk Andie into ditching her
date. Joey suffers an extreme consequence for trying to help a friend. Jack
tries to set Henry out on a date with Jen.
Episode 41 "Secrets and Lies"
-- Dawson is faced with the dilemma of telling Jen about Eve and becomes more
troubled when his mother unexpectedly returns from Philadelphia. Andie accuses
Joey of sabotaging her chance to reunite with Pacey, Andie shocks Pacey with a
secret she has been holding. Jen surprises the entire town with the
entertainment she has hired for Capeside's Annual Homecoming Queen Gala and
leaves Henry breathless when she asks him to be her escort to the gala.
Episode 42 "Escape From Witch Island"
-- In this farce to the "Blair Wittch Project", most importantly to
true fans of Dawson's Creek, we see the return of THE VIDEO STORE!! Dawson gets
Joey, Pacey, Jen (Can you say season 1) to be his crew on a documentary for
history class about Witch Island, a local island that is enveloped in mystery
for its reputation of being haunted by witches. Tales of exiled witches haunts
them and love lost that has Dawson and Joey questioning their own romance, Jen
and Pacey are left considering a "special" kind of relationship.
Meanwhile, Andie takes her job on the school disciplinary committee very
seriously when she "tries taking back the halls of Capeside." Well in
my opinion, much better then "The Scare" a previous farce from season
1.
Episode 43 "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner"
-- Without previous notice Grams tells Jen that her mom has come to Capeside for
Thanksgiving, after speaking to his mother Dawson decides to confront Jen's mom
about her secret past, and makes a decision to help bridge the gap between the
estranged mother and daughter, who is Eve if you haven't been following.
Meanwhile, Jen and Pacey continue to pursue their "new type of
friendship", and Mitch and Gale make the future of the Leery family known
to Dawson.
Episode 44 "Four To Tango"
-- Jen & Pacey attempt to ignite thhe flames of passion that sparked between
them on a previous episode, Jack unexpectedly finds a romantic possibility on
the internet, whom Andie coaches him to peruse a relationship with. Things heat
up when Dawson discovers a condom in his bedroom that Pacey seems to have left
behind during a surprise visit. Dawson becomes jealous and suspects that Pacey
has something going on with Joey after he follows them to a class. Meanwhile
Joey, is just trying to win scholarship money from the dance school, and has
enrolled Pacey as her partner in exchange for math tutorials. Each of the 4 come
to learn that true passion can't be something that is forced.
Episode 45 "First Encounters of the Close Kind"
-- Dawson, Joey, Andie and Jack travel to Boston to spend a weekend at a top
American college. Dawson's "Escape From Witch Island" is enrolled in
the student film festival held on campus, and he meets tough critics as well as
a very gifted student. Joey ends up with a male roommate who gives her a bitter
taste of college life. Joey gives him a taste of life outside of the school.
Jack checks out the Boston nightlife on his own. He attempts to explore his
sexuality further but chickens out. Andie finds enlightenment in an unexpected
person. At the end of the episode Dawson, Joey, and Jack seem to have made
interesting contacts.
Episode 46 "Barefoot at Cape fest"
-- Dawson discovers that Capeside is hoome to a new filmmaker when he goes to
borrow the school's camera Nikki has beaten him to it. Andie decides that the
best way to get over Pacey is to get busy, and assumes the role of assistant
director for the school play. The director persuades Pacey to play the lead
role. Jack convinces Jen to camp out at Cape fest since Ethan will be there.
During that night, Jack learns that dating isn't easy, gay or straight, while
Jen learns a little more about Henry and herself. Joey and Dawson have a quarrel
when he attempts to choose a new identity for himself. The show ends with Joey
giving Dawson a new gift that adds a little insight on his life.
Episode 47 "A Weekend In The Country"
-- As the Potter B&B prepares for iits grand opening, Joey and Bessie find
themselves in a dire financial situation. Bessie considers mortgaging the house,
which would be lost if the B&B failed. The gang pulls together to help her
with her business venture. Pacey invites a hotel critic Fred Fricke to stay and
write a review. Among the weekend's disasters; the bathroom floods, the furnace
fizzles and none of Joey's efforts can please the cranky critic. Since the
B&B needs to look busy, the gang assumes the role of its guests. During the
course of the friends' "weekend in the country," Jen faces her fears
about her past and finally decides to go out with Henry; under pressure from
Andie, Jack considers moving back home; Dawson struggles with his parents'
relationship after the divorce; and Pacey finds himself falling further for Joey
as we see in the final scene. A great episode, first 4 star in a while. Episodes
like these remind me why this is such a great show.
Episode 48 "Northern Lights"
-- It is the day of Pacey's big debut iin Capeside High's school play. Pacey
becomes saddened when Joey plans a date for the evening with a college guy.
Using her absence as an excuse Pacey forgets his lines, and lets his feelings
for Joey show while he practically pleas with Joey to attend. To Nikki's sorrow
Dawson drops his film class, because he believes he needs some space from his
favourite hobby. Andie assumes the role of director when the current director
falls ill during one of his classes, Andie stresses out and in the end is a
success. Henry discovers the truth behind Jen when their date gets rescheduled
for the school play. Pacey's performance in the play is a great success, and
Joey uses equal skill during her date.
Episode 49 "The Valentine's Day Massacre"
--It is St-Valentine's Day, the gang acccompanied by Jack's ex-girlfriend, who
just broke up with her gay boyfriend, go to a party. Pacey convince Dawson to
explore the dark side and explore the "joys of life". The party gets
busted and the gang gets their first prison experience, while in prison an
obviously jealous Pacey erupts at Dawson and Joey, for their "saga, are
they going to get back together or not?" Jack admits to his ex that he is
also gay which doesn't come as such a shock to her. Henry sells blood in an
attempt to make a perfect evening with Jen a night to remember. Out of haste
Henry sells too much blood and collapses on the date, later being rushed to the
hospital. In the closing of the show, Dawson receives punishment for his
actions, Pacey has a serious talk with his brother, Jack confides to his ex, and
Pacey tries to become honest with Joey, but in the end chickens out.
Episode 50 "Crime and Punishment"
--After completing her mural for the scchool, Joey is shocked to discover that it
has been vandalised. Dawson and Pacey try to calm Joey down, and Pacey won't
stop until he finds out who defaced Joeys work of art. While Dawson tries to
convince her to resume her art and redo the work. Pacey more or less comes to
terms with Joey, and the disserting message, leaving behind a painful feeling.
Andie's guilt overcomes herself as she steps down from her privileges positions
and admits to her moral violation. No, Bodie hasn't disappeared yet; he is still
hanging around after his long absence,
Episode 51 "To Green, With Love"
--In a touching show, principal Green iis forced to step down from his position
because of his dismissal of Matt Caufield. Parents rallying behind Matt's father
as their children, the students of Capeside are fighting to save Green. Joey
takes control of the situation and organizes meetings to allow the voices of the
student's to be heard. Pacey admits to Jen of his feelings for Joey, and Dawson
helps his mother tell an unbiased version of the story.
Episode 52 "The Cinderella Story"
--THEY FINALLY KISS. Joey's trip to vissit AJ ends prematurely; Meanwhile, Pacey
is forced to join a mentoring program, a punishment for his fight with Matt
Caufield. He meet his match hard-ass ten-year old Pacey grits his teeth and
hangs on, only to learn a thing or two about life, and about his feelings for
Joey. Dawson does a little matchmaking while staffing the new family business.
Episode 53 "Neverland"
--Pacey and Joey's kiss sends them intoo a personal dilemma. Joey feels that
Pacey has seriously endangered their friendship, Pacey worries that he has
betrayed Dawson. Jen, Joey, and Andie have a girl's night out while Dawson and
Pacey go camping near their childhood fort. Jack's friend Ethan visits, and puts
Jack and His father into a confrontation, which results in a new beginning for
their relationship.
Episode 54 "The Longest Day"
--The first episode in a while that hass you will be rooting for Dawson and Joey
again. Pacey and Joey deal with he impact of their kiss. Dawson and Joey explore
memories from the past, Jen feels jealousy when a girl flirts with Henry. Joey
and Pacey decide that they have real feelings for each other. Dawson's parents
begin to rekindle a flame that they thought had been blown out. Andie shows she
is getting over Pacey, when his friend comes for a surprise visit. A great
episode, it tells everyone's stories rather well, and Dawson's aunt is a really
good character. Moreover it looks like Dawson is going to start dreaming pretty
soon again.
Episode 55 "The Longest Day"
-- We are left with a troubled Pacey annd Joey from the last episode, both
realizes that they must tell Dawson about their blooming relationship. Joey
confides to Jen about them, and Pacey to his brother, both seeking much needed
advice. This Episode makes use of good directing, where the scenes are not shown
in chronological order. Both ended up blatantly telling Dawson, who already
known thanks to the spreading of gossip. Meanwhile, Andie spends a day at the
library with Pacey's friend, when she runs into Joey she tells her that she
still has feelings for Pacey. After facing the guilt that ensues from owning up
to Dawson, the trios' friendships are put in jeopardy, and they question their
choices.
Episode 56 "Show Me Love"
-- Dawson and Pacey are in competition against each other in a yearly boat race,
the race develops into a battle for the prize of prizes, Joey. Henry tries his
best to mend his ailing relationship with Jen, which took a tumble in the last
episode. Andie and Will continue their blossoming friendship, which appears to
be progressing into something more. Pacey and Dawson have a dramatic argument,
which takes a punch at each other's hearts.
Episode 57 "The Anti-Prom"
--Dawson asks Joey to be his date for CCapeside high's junior prom, she agrees
despite their current predicament. Jack is forced to face a homophobic prom
coordinator who refuses to allow him to purchase prom tickets for himself and
Ethan. In response to this Dawson organizes an alternative prom at his parent's
restaurant. Pacey attends with Andie, who still carries a flame for the young
Witter. During which, Jen dangles prom-night nookie in front of Henry, and Mitch
and Gale show Dawson that love, sometimes, gets a second chance. The episode
leaves the trio undecided about their future, and all the couples are left
fairly troubled.
Episode 58 (Season Finale) "True Love"
--This season finale is not recommendedd for you Dawson and Joey Boosters. Gale
and Mitch re-marry, their service is attended by Dawson as their best man and
Joey their maid of honour. Dawson, inspired by his parents' second marriage,
reconsiders Joey's and his relationship, and make a moving speech about love and
second chances. Meanwhile, Pacey, who is preparing to sail to Key West for the
entire summer, makes a final desperate attempt to convince Joey of his feelings,
without actually telling her. Jen decides to mend the damage done to her
relationship with Henry, while Jack wrestles with his conflicting feelings about
Ethan, and finally makes a decision that ends in hurt. In the end Dawson
forgives Joey, and gives her "permission" to be with Pacey, in the
final scene Joey and Pacey sail away with each other for the summer.
