DAWSON'S CREEK
Don't they all just date each other?
Sort of. Friends since they were young, film buff Dawson Leery and top scholar Joey Potter have had an on-off relationship, but remain soul mates.
What about the others?
Well, Joey fell in love with Dawson's other best friend, Pacey Witter, a year or so ago, sailing off on his boat, True Love, for a summer of sun and fun, but not too much fun! That came later on a class ski trip.
Did Dawson flip out?
He sure did, and in return dated Pacey's older sis, Gretchen. That followed flings with former bad girl Jen Lindley and Jen's equally vixen-like half-sister. But to round things out nicely, last season ended with Dawson and Joey kissing.
Which leaves the gay guy...
Jack. When he arrived, football star Jack dated Joey before realising he prefers boys. He's now got a boyfriend, a geek called Tobey, but thankfully we don't see much of him.
So what now?
The gang are off to college - Jack, Jen and Joey to Boston, and Dawson to an LA film school. Meanwhile Pacey is somewhere mid-ocean working as a deckhand on a yacht. Needless to say, they won't stay separated for long.
