Our super-sleuth LA Editor, Steve, hit the set of Dawson's Creek to suss out 20 fascinating facts on the stars of this sensational show!

* Josh Jackson takes his dog Shamba almost everywhere. The pooch even shows up on location!

* All the stars have found homes in Wilmington. Michelle was raised near the beach, so she lives at the beach in Wilmington. Katie grew up in a small town, so she bought an apartment in the suburbs. James and Josh both grew up in major cities, so they rent inner-city apartments.

* Although Meredith Monroe likes living in Wilmington, she really misses her husband. Luckily, he gets to visit the set all the time!

* For the first 13 weeks of filming, the two Dawson's boys shared an apartment. But after the show's summer break, they decided to get their own places!

* Katie is the only cast member to actually have bought a place in Wilmington - everyone else rents.

* The cast have a special nutritionist/medic on the set. Sally's job is to watch for injuries on the set and design vitamin plans for the gang!

* When James and Michelle filmed the skinny-dipped scene, both wore wetsuits. Because they couldn't wear tops, water kept leaking into the wetsuit bottoms!

* Pucker-up! Michelle gets chaffed lips from too much kissing!

* When Meredith Monroe arrived in Wilmington, she had allergies to the pollen in the air. The on-set medic quickly helped her get rid of her red eyes and runny nose with a herbal remedy.

* Photo shoots are not Michelle Williams' fave thing. Despite being gorgeous, she hates taking her picture taken and usually won't look at finished photo shoots to see how she looks!

* Katie often gets bruises on her arms and legs from climbing in and out of Dawson's window. But, thanks to the wardrobe department, we never get to see them!

* Once filming in finished for the day, Josh makes it a ritual to shake hands with, and thank, every crew member working on the shoot. They reckon he's the nicest guy to work with. Ahhh...

* At the end of a day of shooting, everyone yells "Martini Shot". No, it doesn't mean the cast are all set for a drink, it means it's the last take of the day ad everyone can go home when it's done!

* Because Wilmington is such a small town, many of the local store owners let the Dawson's crew use their shops to film. With a change of sign and lighting, you can transform the local chemist into the Capeside Pharmacy!

* Josh Jackson has a Sunday ritual that he won't miss - he goes to his fave cafe, has a hamburger and watched the Sunday night football on telly.

* Wilmington locals sign up to be extras in the show - especially during summer holidays!

* Filming at the University of North Carolina library can sometimes cause havoc! One day over 200 hundred students gathered to watch filming and get autographs! Hmmm, we think we'll head on over!

* Chop, chop! Believe it or not, it was Michelle Williams' idea to cut her hair, Michelle had wanted to lop her long locks for a while and the producers agreed!

* In the second season of the show, Dawson got a lot more lip action that the first. James told us he'd found a great brand of lip balm to stop them drying out!

* Josh Jackson writes film scripts in his spare time and hoped to have one produced some day soon!
