| Quarterly Competition Rules |

| Only a paid member may enter the competion |
| Each member may enter up to 3 pictures |
| A picture can be entered in the quarterly competitions only once |
| All prints must be mounted and matted (Frame optional) |
| The picture(s) entered in the quarterly competition must meet the following requirements |
| 5" X 7" print or larger, color or black & white |
 |
| Pictures may not be entered in a monthly competition and then a quarterly competion and vice versa. |

| Points awarded each quarterly theme competition for Photographer of the Year |
| 1 POINT for each picture entered in the quarterly competition |
|
| 5 points for BEST OF SHOW |
|
 |
|
| Pictures must be entered in one of two classes |
| Begineer |
|
| Advanced |
|
| Each member dicides which class he/she enters |
| Once a member has entered the advanced class, he/she must continue to enter the advanced class |
| Once a member has placed 3 or more times in the begineer class in one year, he/she must enter the advanced class |

|
| 4 points for FIRST PLACE |
|
| 3 POINT for SECOND PLACE |
|
| 2 points for THIRD PLACE |
|
| 1 points for HONORABLE MENTION |

| Slides may be entered |
|

| Photographer of the Year |
| The Club member with the highest cumulative total points (March - Febuary) will be presented the "Photographer of the Year Award" at the March business meeting |

| Additional Quarterly rules |
|
| All competitions will be held as a learning tool for all members |
|
| Quarterly photographic competitions with an independent judge will be held at least four times a year for members. Competition rules will apply. A member need not be present to enter the quarterly competition. |
