| Citizens & Georgian - Montezuma, GA July 21, 1966 PRESTON WORTH GREER Final rites for Preston W Greer held Saturday. Funeral services for Preston Worth Greer, 75, of Ideal were held at 10am Saturday in Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. The elder Benthly Adams ofiiciated, with interment in Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. (Taylor Co., GA) Mr. Greer died Thursday in his home. He was a lifelong resident of Macon County and was a retired farmer. Survivors include two sons, Thurman C Greer, and William T Greer of Tifton; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbeareres were Lamar Massey, Randal Jinks, Arthur Jinks, Fred Gilbert, Homer Albritton, E.C. Raburn Jr., J.L. Turner, and David Childs. Watson-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
