Here's where I dish out the restaurants that I'm not too crazy about.  By all means, I'm not trying to tell you not to go to these places because I'm sure there's a lot of people that like them... I mean, they're still open right?

Yan Can
I tried to give Mr. Yan the benefit of the doubt.  I've been watching him on TV ever since I remember and he's a really good chef.  When I found out that he opened a restaurant, I was there the first week to try it out.  I was disapointed and so were most of the people that I knew.  So, I tried a second time and I think it was a waste of my $7.00.  I heard that Martin Yan will be opening a more "upscale" restaurant on Santana Row.  I hope this time he won't let me down and one of these days I'll give it a try.  Third time's a charm, right?

Fuzio
I know that a lot of people love this place, but the one I went to was really crappy... and it wasn't the service or anything like it.  I guess Fuzio is supposed to take a lot of the influences of different cuisines and come up with noddle dishes.  Maybe it's because I come from an "ethnic" background, but the food there just lacks flavor.  I actually ordered a spicy dish and was eating it.  I added pepper and cheese, and then I said to the people I was with, "Man, this sh*t just doesn't have any flavor," and I turn around and there was a waiter there.  =D  But shoot, I don't care... I don't think this is the place to go to if you like to experience taste.

Wolfgang Puck Express

I've always thought there might be a lot of hype around the man, and I thought that by at least going to one of his restaurants, I'd put my theory to the test.  I'll let you decide by answering this question:  have you ever seen a grey meatloaf?  Well if you want to, do to Wolfgang's restaurant.  Picture this:  I'm in South Lake Tahoe, just got out of the snow, and want a warm, hearty meal.  I'd have better luck opening a can of soup than to go to this restaurant.  I ordered the meatloaf, not only was it grey, it was as thin as a  slice of bread and it way too salty and I paid almost $8 for it.  Not worth it.  Next time, I'll stick to either home made or Boston Market -- at least their food is good!

Olive Garden
I hate to say, every time I go there the service is super slow and you end up overpaying for something you could somewhere else for way better and way cheaper.  I think the only think I do like about Olive Garden is their soup and breadsticks.  Other than that, I'm usually at Pasta Pomodoro.
