Must Haves
I think of electronics as being adult toys. Your too old  for He-Man and Transformers. Unless you collect them like me. And toys would always make you happy. It's what you thought about at school. When your young you spend your time trying to find something or someone to play with.
So why stop ?

When you grow up instead of playing with Hot Wheels you  play with modified Honda's or Vipers. Instead of G.I. Joe's you have your DVD player. To me the latest electronic product commercials bring on that "I want that feeling". Just like the commercials during Saturday morning cartoons.

The Sony RM-AV2100 is the remote I use for my home theater. It has full learning capabilities and can control 12 devices. Including lights and a/c. I love it, there are one or two flaws. But overall a great buy that anyone with a medium to large size A/V rack would enjoy. $179.00 available for less online.
Sony RM-AV2100
Pioneer DV-434
A DVD player is quickly become a standard in U.S. homes. I had my first one around 1997 and have been hooked ever since. Once you get used to watching DVD's, you'll do anything you have to in order to avoid watching another movie on VHS . $299.00
Sony Playstation 2
The best videogame console available. The games I play the most now are Knockout Kings 2001 and SSX. Just a suggestion. $300.00
Pioneer SD-582HD5
This Digital 58" projection TV from Pioneer is HDTV ready. If the price is a  little high you can find other HD ready TV's for around $2,000. I plan on making the upgrade this year as well. With a Digital tv the picture quality from your DVD player and other sources are simply beautiful. Then add a High Definiton set-top box and your set, for real. Have you ever viewed a HD broadcast? You should, try Circuit City.   $4999.00
Sony DDW820
This A/V receiver from Sony has a built in Dolby Digital and DTS decoder. Power 100 Watts x 5 And comes with the 6 speaker needed to build your home theater. Don't forget to buy speaker stands. $499.00.
Direc TV Satalite
Forget cable and forget Digital Cable. What your roof should be rocking is a small satalite dish. I use Direc TV I like their service. Digital picture and sound. I purchased my system 2 years ago for about $30 including instalation and 2 months of free programing. So shop around.
Around $49
