Our mission is to help D.C become successful and to give children of all ages and abilities the chance to play football and become part of a prime and successful club.
ABOUT US
* We started playing in 2000, Manager Barry McGreevey decided to get the team up and running, and it has been successful from day one.
* In our first year we gained promotion to the third division, and were unlucky to loose out in the cup final, going 1-0 down to a talented Coleraine team.
* We are currently playing in the Belfast Region under Jonny McCrystal, after being promoted in our first two seasons and last year we were crowned Beflast Div Cup winners 2003.
* Our training nights are tuesdays (6-7.30pm Beechmount Leisure Centre) and Sundays 1.303.30pm at the Falls Park).
* All home Match nights will be wednesday at the DC club. Keep up-to-date with these fiixtures in the fix & Res link!
* we also have a junior set-up for U12 and U14 and training is held every sunday from 12-1 in the Falls Park with Louise Irvine and Tina McKnight.
*The club was formed in 1970, byu men and women in the surrounding area. The name 'Donegal' came about as the neighbouring
streets to our club are named after such
places like Bunbeg, Gweedore &
Creeslough in county Donegal.
* The 'Celtic'part in our name is there
because of the strong interest in
'Glasgow Celtic'from the people
of the surrounding area.
