The Douglas County Tigers went up 4-0 at halftime and clinched their first region win of the season 4-1 over visiting Campbell High School.

It took only 2 minutes for DC to get on the board first, scoring on a breakaway pass from Drew Hook to Zack Rozier. The Tigers' second goal came 10 minutes later when Rozier returned the favor, hitting Hook on the left flank for a 2-0 advantage. Rozier's second goal came off a header from Kevin Stewart's corner kick with 15 minutes on the clock. Stewart ended the Tigers' scoring with a quick move inside the box to beat the keeper one-on-one.

DC subbed freely in the second half, having the shutout broken with 3 minutes left in the game. Douglas County will return to action Friday when they play Marietta in another key region game.
