The Douglas County Tigers' beat Carrolton High School 4-0 Wednesday night from four different goal scorers.
The Tigers came out sloppy, but got on the board 20 minutes into the game when Zack Rozier finished a header from a Mazdak Sayyar corner. Despite a 1-0 lead at halftime, DC controlled most of the first half and had plenty of shots.
Amidst more wayward shooting in the second half, Tyler Armstrong was able to capitalize on a penalty for the second goal, when a Tiger player was fouled inside the box. The penalty sparked 2 more goals from Jafa Seyedahmadian and Daniel Singletary. A strong defensive effort was recorded by Brian Kelly, Matt Parmer, Drew Hook and Will Morgan.
Douglas County is now 2-0-0 on the season and will face Chapel Hill High School friday night in an inter-county battle.
