Every site has a story behind its creation. Some people create sites teach others, and some do it for fun. For me, it was both. A long time ago, 1999, I came across a wonderful site called ABE Volume Calculators. I was thrilled by the programs there. However, one day in 2000, the site went down shortly for some reason. Thinking that it would be gone forever, I became very disappointed. I decided to make my own site. Having learned some Visual Basic 5, I began writing simple programs. I was only a high school freshman then, but the support from many kind people made this site possible. The site was initially named "CirCalculate", for the first program I wrote. However, as more programs became available, this site was renamed "Mathematical Utilities". Over time, this site has improved, and more people are visiting it. I sincerely hope that you will enjoy this site. - Danny Chia Trivia: Here is something I have never told you about. Before Mathematical Utilities, this was a fan-site for the game Terminal Velocity. The site only contained cheats and basic weapon information for the game. However, since it was not a popular game, I removed the site. |
