New antenna is installed. The problem is fixed. No more crappy reception on the 2 frequencies, or transmissions that come in late/halfway. Seems to be working fine. Will keep an eye on it to make sure it stays that way. Enjoy!

Look at the bottom of the page for the Air Florida flight 90 crash tapes. People said they had a hard time with finding parts 2/3/4 so I added them all below.
You will need to download Teamspeak to listen to the server. Here is a link to download teamspeak. It will take less then 10 minutes from the time you download & install to the time you connect.

(I updated the teamspeak link because some people could not download the program 1/27/08) Follow the instruction when installing, its pretty straightforward. Once installed, open your Teamspeak client, and at the top click on Connection. Then in the menu click Quick Connect. A login box appears. In the server address field type in the following: 66.55.146.51:8053
Then in the nickname box, type in your nickname (warning if someone else is using that nickname, you will recieve a login error- names such as E15 or DCFD may already be used, so you have to choose another)
Leave the Login name, and the login password fields blank. You do not need these. Just a server address and nickname will suffice. Once you have entered the server address and a nickname, click connect, and you should be in! If you have any problems, email [email protected] and ill be happy to assist.

I ordered a new antenna so that should be a relief to the one frequency that comes in scratchy.
With a trunked system, every time someone keys a mic, the frequency will change as well. Its never the same back to back, its like a rotation. Click this link from wiki.radioreference.com to learn more. It is explained in detail here.
