"Mark ye well their manner, for it is quiet and assumeth not. It is in peaceful tones they speak and oft seem abstracted. Seeming to prefer the company of Beastes, they converse with them as equals. They dwell in lonely places, there better to know the voices of the Wind and hear the secrets of Nature. Possessing the Wysdome of the fields and forests, they do harm and heal with their harvests. They concerne themselves not with idle chatter or fashion, nor do worldly goods hold worth for them.

"Be not confused as to think only Woman-kynd harboureth the gifte in this matter. Of Men there bee many that hold mickle power."

Edward Johnston, Esq.; Sudbury, Suffold, England; 1645 A.D.

Dark Cauldron of the Elder Moon (DCEM) is a group of close-knit family and friends who celebrate Sabbats and rites of passage. We often get together for discussions, socializing, and drumming and dancing, as well.

Located in Lee and Dougherty Counties around Albany, Ga., we are open to new members who have common interests and with whom a relationship would be mutually agreeable and beneficial. No classes are available; however, some of our members are willing to accept students on a one-on-one basis.

Membership of DCEM includes clergy, who is available for rites of passage by request.

Some members of DCEM are also available for public speaking engagements in the area. Contact DCEM for details.
