I Have Come

Written on April 13, 2000. This was my first attempt at a praise and worship song, accounting for it's shortness. It asks God to show me His face, and to make His presence known to me.

I have come to praise Your name
'Cause You saw it fit to take my blame
You gave Your all on Calvary
So now I come on bended knee
To offer all I am to Thee

I have come to seek Your face
Pour down Your Spirit on this place
And let me catch a glimpse of You
No earthly thing can ever do
'Cause only You can get me through

I have come to seek Your will
To know You're God, and just be still
Open my eyes, Lord, let me see
Take everything I have from me
And nail it all upon that tree

Repeat Verse 1.
