Don't let me get sidetracked by barriers. Let me love each person, be he Christian, Gothic, or Wiccan, poor or rich, athletic or "nerdy," strong or weak, knowledgeable or lacking knowledge, wise or foolish, short or tall, skinny or fat, attractive or homely (although this last standard only stems from my own human eyes, and I'm starting to see each person as one of Your unique creations, each one amazingly beautiful).
Replace these human eyes with eyes full of Your sight. Replace this hardened heart with a heart more like Yours. Replace these blood-stained hands with pure, willing ones. Replace these deafened ears with ears sensitive to the needs of others. Replace this corrupted mind with a mind that seeks only Your ways. Replace this stubborn will with Your own divine will. Replace this weakened, useless, fruitless faith with the faith of a child. Replace this fallen life with the one and only true Life that comes from You.
Push every hindrance aside from my path. Prepare me with your armor so that I can withstand the constant attacks of the enemy. Don't ever allow this frail human to give up.
Most of all, give me a stronger faith in You. My life is in Your hands, and every time I try to take things back into my own, I find myself returning the broken pieces into Your hands. So help me to trust You and realize that You always know what's best, even when things don't look so good from my limited point of view.
...I asked You to show me that I've made an impact on those who don't know You, and You showed me. I can't wait to see the kind of impact You'll use me to make now that I'm giving everything to You. Never let me become prideful, though. My sole purpose is to share Your love with others. Never let me think I'm making this impact on my own, because without You, I am nothing.
So use me, Lord. I give it all to You. I give everything I have to You. I give everything I am to You. Help me to live as You lived. Help me to live in such a way that when my few days here are over, my life through You will continue to impact people for years.
Most of all, let me show Your true love to the dying world around me. You are what they are searching for; they just don't know it. Use me to show them this truth.
This is it. I'm giving my all to You, Lord. I love You. Thank You for loving me, too.
