God's Compassion on Us

Scripture: "You number my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle; are they not in Your book?" ~Psalm 56:8

We've been talking a lot about Jesus' compassion on people during His time here on earth. Today, we're gonna get a little more personal. This is an awesome verse, one of the verses that best illustrates the intimate friendship God wants to have with us unworthy sinners. It's an amazing example of how much God cares for and has compassion on us. Think about it--no heartache goes unnoticed, no tear is not counted.

God's compassion always amazes me. When we were still filthy sinners, He embraced us and showed us love like we've never known. And He showers His love down on us each and every day; comforting through every heartache.

We should pass this love on. This is something we all need to work on. It is the one thing Jesus singled out that would set us apart from the world: "By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, that you love one another."

God shows us amazing compassion. We need to pray and ask Him for the capacity to show this love and compassion to others in order to lead them to Him.
