IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a bridge on Peach Tree Road which is closed for
construction until December 2000. Dan & I drove the route this weekend to come
up with a corrected cue sheet which includes the detour around this road
closure. We also made some minor corrections to the cue, added info about
railroad track crossings, and clarified vague cues. Many thanks to Margaret
for scouting the detour and originally posting the info to the list.

Start: Poolesville High School on West Willard Road in Poolesville, MD.
>From the Capital Beltway, take I-270 North, stay right (Local / Rockville
exits), exit onto MD 28 West (to Poolseville). Continue 12 miles and turn
left onto MD 107. Continue five miles to West Willard Road. Turn left and
continue one block; the school is on left. Alternatively, from the Capital
Beltway take River Road west to West Willard Road. Turn right. The school is
approximately 3.5 miles on the right. Poolesville is 21 miles northwest of
the Capital Beltway.

"challenging" climb
