even be aware of it! Cool, huh? Many everyday activities
meet badge requirements. Below are a few examples. Can
you think of more?
Be sure that you pick a different interest for each badge. For example,
if you play the piano, you may use that to earn either the Music
Lovers
badge, or the Doing Hobbies badge. You may not use one
interest for more than one badge.

Books
Do you have to write book reports for school?
Have you written an original story?

Swimming
Do you take swimming lessons, are on the swim team, or have taken
swimming at Girl Scout Camp?

Dance
Do you take dance classes?
Have you performed in a dance recital?

Sports
Do you play Softball, Soccer, Basketball, Tennis or Volleyball?
Something else?
Have you watched your sport on the Olympics?

Musician
Have you participated in a musical performance?

Music Fan
Do you take music lessons?
Have you learned 3 new songs well enough to teach others?

Pet Care
Do you own a cat, dog, horse, rabbit, fish or even a pet rock? Do you
help to take care of it?

Plants & Animals
Have you taught your pet a new trick?

Have you done any stargazing?

Eco-Action
Have you been to DEQ and watched them test your car?

Ecology
Have you counted a tree's growth rings and figured its age?

Have you made and fired an object out of clay?

Making Hobbies
Do you enjoy making things? Do you make things like...jewelry; do you
knit, crotchet, or quilt? Perhaps you enjoy sewing?

Do you enjoy playing an instrument, hiking, bicycling, reading, or singing
in a choir?
