Training Requirements:
1. If your troop is spending the night on Friday, an adult in the group must
have their Group Camping Skills Training
(see the great guide for training
coming up in March and April)
2. Every troop MUST have a current Level 1 First Aid and CPR trained
person

your troop to do things on their own.

*Snack served after campfire. 10 PM lights out.

mail them to Will
. There will be no refunds after this date.

Supply Lists:
Will be handed out in March

Kapers (Chores)
All troops will be assigned a kaper. This camp relies on everyone sharing
the workload. Please make sure that your troop shows up on time for your
kaper.

Special Hike Up Wind Mountain:
Troop 1746 would like to offer a hike up Wind Mountain on Saturday
afternoon for Juniors and up. This is a several hour hike that would take all
afternoon. The hike would be strenuous with breath taking views as a
reward! Please discuss this hike with your girls this month. Your entire
troop would not have to go. There will be adults supervising the hike.
There will be a signup next month so that the troop will know how many
girls will be participating on the hike. Let us know whether or not an adult is
interested in going as well. Signup in March.

Friday Night: (juniors and up only)
Troops can arrive anytime after 5:30 PM. All meals until Saturday afternoon
snack are the responsibility of each individual troop. There may be some
activities planned if troops are interested.

SWAPS (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere):
*Should tell something about your troop, troop #
*Promotes friendship, encourages girls to talk to other people
*Cute is best
*Try not to spend lots of money
*Use donated/recycled materials
*Portable
*Must be waterproof - use glue guns not white glue
*No edible food

SWAP etiquette:
*SWAPS for trade are carried in a zip-loc bag while the ones you want to
keep are pinned on your hat / vest
*SWAPS are 1-2" in size
*Try to make your SWAPS something you would like to receive
*Girls are encouraged to trade with a variety of troops. They may
POLITELY refuse a SWAP if they already have that SWAP. Please
discourage girls from collecting just one type of SWAP - it ends up hurting
feelings. Encourage them to get the largest variety possible!
*Make 20 - 30 SWAPs per person (leaders like this too! :-))

Suggestions:
Bring a "first aid kit" for swaps to repair them at camp (glue gun/tacky glue)
Ideas for getting them done:
1. Do over a period of many months as an opening activity
2. Have a SWAP making party outside of a regular meeting
3. Have a family SWAP making night
