What Girl Scouting means to |

the Girl Scouts of Neighborhood 13-1 |

We are going to put together a book containing letters addressed to Daisy, in honor of the 90th anniversary of Girl Scouting! |
|
|
|
All Girl Scouts (that means Leaders and other adult members, too) are invited, and highly encouraged, to contribute to this project! We will donate the finished book to Girl Scouts - Columbia River Council! |

|
|
Letters should be: |
|
*5.5 x 8.5 white paper (half of 8.5 x 11) |
|
*Portrait orientation (Height longer than width) |
|
*Done in dark ink |
|
*As neat as possible! (But, please don't obsess. You have enough to worry about!) |
|
|
|
The letters should be addressed to Daisy and discuss what Girl Scouts means to the author. Some ideas include: |

*What they have learned from GS |
|
*A favorite GS Memory and how it fits with what you like about GS |
|
*How GS has made them stronger/braver/happier/??? |
|
|
|
Letters should be signed with: |
|
*First Name Only |
|
*Age |
|
*Level (Daisy, Brownie�) |
|
|
|
Little ones may draw pictures! And, please don't stress about spelling. As long as we can tell what they are talking about! Drawings with the letter are great as long as it is done in dark ink. |

Please bring your finished letters to the March Leaders Meeting! |
