This photograph shows the house my Smith grandparents owned. Built in about 1890 in the Columbia Heights section of NW Washington, DC, the house was purchased by Archie and Lorena Smith in December, 1949. My grandparents lived in the house until their passing - both in 1980. The house remained in the family until 1984.
