I
woke up early and walked from my hotel room down to Water Street Restaurant - better known as Leery's Fresh Fish on Dawson's Creek. There were only two other girls who had actually come down to the set that early in the morning. I was sitting there and began a conversation with the police officer, who was extremely nice and resourceful. I asked who all would be filming that day, and he told me James, Mary-Margaret, and Sasha Alexander (new cast member). The girls, Kristina and Rachel, and I began a conversation and from then on we sat at the same table keeping an eye out for other cast members who might happen to show up on the set.
J
ames arrived on the set, and he waved and said hello to us. I snapped pictures like crazy. I probably have more of James than I do of the other cast members combined! I couldn't possibly have posted all the pictures I took, so I just included the best ones. All filming was done indoors, so we really didn't get to see much besides the crew working outside and sometimes when the actors would come out and walk down to craft services.

he producer's assistant met me on the set and had some disappointing news. She said as of last Friday, they had changed the shooting schedule due to bad weather in prior weeks and would not be able to get our group in to see any filming because Thursday and Friday locations were private. I asked if Josh would be filming any that week and she said that he would on Wednesday, but again it was on private property. Obviously, I was down-hearted. I mean to come all the way from Texas and not even be able to see Josh. What was I to do?

llison and Evelyn came down to the restaurant to watch some filming and we chatted a while. I was depressed and bummed out to say the least. They hadn't been gone twenty seconds when some girl nonchallantly said "There's Josh." So I looked for him in the crowd and actually spotted Shumba first because Josh really blended in with the crew. I grabbed my camera as fast as I could and started taking pictures. He was talking and joking around with the crew, and then he went inside the restaurant for a while. When he came back out, people started crossing the street to ask for his autograph and picture. I followed, of course. Kristina got the first picture with him - I got the last. She said that I took the picture of them together, but I honestly don't remember it if I did! LOL! He only posed for six pictures, but there were tons more people waiting for him. When we first walked over, we were all standing in the street, so Josh said something like "Okay guys, why don't we move back this way a bit before I get arrested."

fter getting that picture, I only had to wait another twenty minutes before James came out to take pictures and give autographs. He was extremely nice. When I approached him, he asked who to make it out to, and I started spelling my name. After pronouncing it for him, and he finished writing it, he said "Cool name." Then we went to take the picture and our arms were getting all tangled up. You know how it is - not knowing where to put your arm and stuff. LOL! Finally he said, "Here, how's this." Like Josh, James only posed for about eight pictures. He actually came out two other times that day to give autographs and take pictures, and I managed to snag another one the last time he came out.
S
asha Alexander, who will play Gretchen Witter in the new season, came out once for pictures. She was really nice and so down-to-earth. Below her autograph, she signed it "Gretchen".

hat day I also got John Wesley Shipp and Mary-Margaret Humes' picture as well. John was really a sweetheart. He asked us all where we were from and looked at us straight in the face when speaking. He was also a very hands-on type of guy - squeezing you really close and hard when taking a picture. After everyone had already gotten their pictures, I stopped him and asked if he was going to be filming at all that week. Again being very personable, he answered me while at the same time rubbing my arm up and down. Ooooh - goosebumps! Yeah, I know what you're thinking... but who the hell cares! This man rocked!

ary-Margaret was also very nice. And the woman is sooo tiny! They had her dressed in such cute clothes for the taping. Anyway, she grabbed me, and we did a cheek to cheek picture. However, at that particular moment my camera decided to run out of film. I let everyone else go ahead and get their pictures, and then I asked Mary-Margaret if she'd take another one with me since I ran out of film. She said sure and Kristina took one with her camera of the two of us. It's really cute except for my hair blowing all over the place!
I
was also trying to make buddies with the crew people to see if they could tell me where they would be filming at the rest of the week. As much as I tried, no one would give up any information. They truly do their jobs well!
J
acki and Tammy also showed up onto the set that Monday, and we chatted for the rest of the day. In fact, it was Tammy who took the picture of me and Josh together. Of course, she almost cut off my freaking head in the shot! LOL! Well, at least I would've still had the picture of Josh.

fter filming ended, which was around 9pm that night, Jacki, Tammy, Kristina, Rachel, and myself headed over to this place called Charlie Brownz Lounge. We left after about 20 minutes. Let me tell you a little something about the service in North Carolina - SLOW! If you're used to the fast-paced service like I am in Austin, it's a drastic change there. They really take their time. And that's fine, it you weren't starving to death to begin with! So where did we end up going? To McDonald's! LOL!
