"I'm unemployed, need money, and have absolutely nothing better to do," he said. Well, at least he had something to do today. Dave envisions this site not only as a hobby to pass the time, but also as a project that will one day contribute positively towards society. When asked about the specifics of his plan, he mumbled a soft, "I haven't figured that out yet." The name of the website leads a reader to infer that Dave is in search of a Yugo, the pitifully inferior vehicle of the now defunct Eastern Bloc country. Given the current vehicle selection, one may wonder why he seeks a Yugo. "If I named [the website] 'Help Dave buy a Porsche', I didn't think people would take me seriously," he said. "A Yugo might be a bit more feasible." The website will be updated weekly and include a section named "The Yugo Pot", which will chronicle the total amount donated. Dave seeks donations from anyone with money and will accept them through a variety of methods, including a PayPal account.
