Original direction for DC Drive III - May 29, 1999
- Leave the Park-N-Ride heading South on US 29 to I-66 West (1 mile)
- Take I-66 West towards Front Royal
- Follow I-66 approximately 25 miles to exit 27
- At the top of the exit ramp, turn left (crossing back over I-66) get in the right lane and turn right on VA 647
- Follow VA 647 for approximately 15 to 20 miles to US 522
- Turn left on US 522 (heading South) till it ends at US 211
- Turn right on US 211 (heading West)
- Follow US 211 for approximately 30 to 35 miles (through the gap) to Luray
- Turn left onto US 211 Business
- Continue on US 211 Business into Luray and park at the Wrangler factory on you left
Return Route
- Continue West on US 211 Business for approximately 1 mile
- Turn right onto US 340 (heading North)
- Follow US 340 approximately 1 miles and turn left onto VA 675 (look for the Human Services building on the corner)
- Continue on VA 675 to Kings Crossing where it runs into VA 678. Watch VA 675 it makes 2 truns, first after crossing a river (left turn) the other 1/2 mile after the river (right turn)
- Continue on VA 678 till it ends at VA 55
- Turn right onto VA 55 (heading East) and follow it till it ends at US 340/US 522 approximately 10 miles
- Turn left onto US 340/US 522 to I-66 (about 2 miles)
- Head East on I-66 towards Washington DC, exit 52 (46 miles) is the exit for the Park-N-Ride
