some. After Dazed

public speaking
opportunities as well as
any work that furthers
his knowledge of and

|
|
|
- Matthew
McConnaughey (David
Wooderspoon) Matthew
McConnaghey was the older
dope smoking stoner that
hung around the
highschool kids by the
name of David Wooderson.
He loved highschool girls
even if he was twice
their age. But his saying
was "That's what I
love about these high
school girls, man. I get
older, they stay the same
age". He also thinks
it's alot cooler if
highschool freshamn
carried around joints and
loves fast cars. He was a
true rebel without a
cause. Even though he was
a little messed up he had
a big heart as he always
let his friends know
where to find good seats
for the upcoming
Aerosmith concert and
always broke up a fight
when someone gets real
out of line. Matthew was
another actor that rose
to fame shortly after Dazed
& Confused. In the
movie history it says his
first acting gig was the
awful slasher flick
The
Texas Chainsaw Massacre:
The Next Generation which was
filmed in 1994 then had a
quick theatrical release
in 1997 and also starred
Rene Zellweger which they
both tried to prevent the
movie from being released
and I wished they had.
But Dazed
& Confused
was his
first film that he had a
supporting role in. He
first attended the
University of Texas in
Austin, originally
wishing to be a lawyer.
But when he discovered an
inspirational Og Mandino
book The
Greatest Salesman in the
World before one
of his final exams, he
suddenly knew he had to
change his major from law
to film. He began his
acting career in 1991,
appearing in student
films and commercials (AS
his first professional
acting gig was a beer
commercial) in Texas and
directed short films as Chicano
Chariots. He also
guest starred in an
episode of "Unsolved
Mysteries" in 1992.
Once in his hotel bar in
Austin he met the casting
director and producer Don
Phillips who introduced
him to director Richard
Linklater for his next
project which was of
course this one but at
first Linklater thought
Matthew was too handsome
to play the role of a guy
chasing high school girls
in his coming-of-age
drama Dazed
and Confused, but cast
him after Matthew grew
out his hair and
mustache. His character
was initially in three
scenes but the role grew
to more than 300 lines as
Linklater encouraged him
to do some
improvisations. Other
films he was in
afterwards were Judgement, The
Lone Star, A
Time to Kill, Larger
Than Life, Scorpion
Spring and then he
struck gold in films like
Contact
(starring
Jodie Foster), The
Newton Boys,
The
Rebel, U-571, Frailty, Reign
of Fire, How
to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (with Adam
Goldberg), Sahara, Two
for the Money and
Failure to Launch. He also
starred in an independent
film called Tiptoes
playing the
lead role of course named
Steven which was shown at
the Deauville Film
Festival in France on
September 8, 2003. He
will be in six upcoming
motion pictures that's
still in the works. He
also hosted "Saturday
Night Live" just rdue
to his fame and also
works as a director from
time to time.

- Ben
Affleck (Fred O'Bannion) Ben Affleck
played the typical
asshole Fred O'Bannion
who failed a grade in
senior high so he can be
a dick to highschool
freshmen twice in a row.
He loves to bust them
with his paddle whacking
them real hard. Also he
prays on the weak. Well
the freshmen of 76 got
the last laugh when they
set him up with a prank.
Affleck is now a top
movie star and made
numerous appearances on
the late night talk show Late
Night with Craig Kilborn. After Dazed
& Confused he did
mostly independent films
like Mallrats and Chasing
Amy which were
great for Ben's career,
receiving renowned
appreciation for his
works at the Sundance
film festival. But the
success he was having in
independent films didn't
last much longer and
things got a little shaky
for Ben. He was living in
an apartment with his
brother Casey and friend
Matt, getting tired of
being turned down for the
big roles in films and
being given the
forgettable supporting
ones. Since Matt was
having the same trouble
they decided to write
their own script, where
they could call all the
shots. So, after
finishing the script for Good
Will Hunting, which
they gave it to their
agent Patrick Whitesell
who showed it to a few
Hollywood studios,
finally being accepted by
Castlerock. It was great
news for the two but
Castlerock wasn't willing
to give Ben and Matt the
control over the project
they were hoping for. It
was his friend Kevin
Smith who took it to the
head of Miramax who
bought the script giving
Ben and Matt the control
they wanted and in
December of 1997 Good
Will Hunting was
released, making the two
unknown actors famous.
The film marked Ben's
breakthrough role, in
which he was given for
the first time the chance
to choose roles instead
of having to go through
grueling auditions
constantly. He chose such
roles in the blockbusters Armageddon (starring
Bruce Willis and Liv
Tyler), Shakespeare
in Love and
Pearl
Harbor. With
these hits to his credit,
Hollywood can't seem to
get enough of Ben, with
directors wanting him in
their movies and
companies wanting his
screenplays. His
inspirational story of
hard work and amazing
climb to the top has
brought him what he
deserves and Ben Affleck
has shown no sign of
slowing down. He was
recently in Changing
Lanes and has
recently been in numerous
films such as The
Sum of all Fears, Daredevil, The
Third Wheel, Jersey
Girl, Paycheck,
Surviving Christmas,
Man About Town and Clerks
II. Affleck has
several more motion
picture's to come as as
we speak and due to his
huge success in motion
pictures he has hosted Saturday
Night Live three times
ever since the new
millenium.

- Cole
Hauser (Benny O'Donnell) Cole Hauser
played Benny O'Donnell
who was almost as much as
a prick as O'Bannion. He
was buds with O'Bannion,
Dawson and Floyd in the
film. He also starred
with Ben Affleck and
Anthony Rapp in the film School
Ties before
they all did Dazed
& Confused together.
Plus he is close friends
with Affleck in real life
too. Cole grew up with a
family of actors as his
father is the B-movie
actor/writer Wings
Hauser, his mother the
actress/dancer, and his
grandfather was the
writer and producer the
late Dwight Hauser and
his great grandfather,
the late Harry M. Warner
was the founder of Warner
Brothers Studios. He
dropped out of highschool
while growing up in Santa
Barbara, California where
he pursued acting full
time. After his fame in Dazed
& Confused,
he also appeared in other
films such as Frame

(starring
Wings Hauser and Linda
Blair), Good
Will Hunting (starring
Robin Williams and Ben
Affleck), Scotch
& Milk, Pitch
Black, A
Shot at Glory, Harts
War and White
Oleander,
Tears of the Sun (starring
Bruce Willis) and 2
Fast 2 Furious. Cole
starred in the
short-lived crime-drama
TV series High
Incident as Officer
Randy Willitz. Recently
too he also had a 3 guest
spot role in the series ER
and lead
roles in the motion
pictures
Paparazzi, The
Cave and The
Break-Up. Like his
father, he became a name
for himself in the
entertainment world.

and former Sweet
Valley High TV actress
Cynthia Daniel and both
share a baby boy whom was
born September of 2004.

first acting gig and he's
a native in Texas which

- Nikki
Katt (Clint Bruno) Nicky
played the school bully
Clint Bruno who was in
the mood to smoke up,
drink up and kick ass at
the beer bust and was
enemies with Newhouse. He
loves wearing 50's
greaser type outfits and
loved fancy cars. He
started his acting career
long before Dazed
& Confused
since he was the age of
seven. He usually got
type cast playing a bully
or thug of some sort in
other shows. He played
Matthew MacLane in the
very short-lived series "Herbie-the
Love Bug" which
only 5 episodes were
made. He did not fall
into the trap of many
child actors that become
identified with one
famous role (because his
child roles were as guest
spots, or, as in the case
of "Herbie:
the Love Bug", were
cancelled early on as
mentioned above) or can't
get work as adults and
allow their lives to fall
to pieces. He also played
Sean Donovan in another
short-lived series called
"V". He also
did the voice over's for
the animated series "The
Get-Along Gang" and
guested in "Chips" and "Voyagers!" After

being a regular in two
seasons of the series "Boston
Public" from 2000
to 2002. Last year Nikki
starred in the Woody
Allen written and
directed "A

off-Broadway playing the
son of Dominic Chianese
and the nephew of Michael
McKean and is now in
production of a new
motion picture starring
