| Joining-Contact administrator on Aol Instant Messenger(AIM):Donodisturbmx. AIM is a must for this rpg. If you don't have it you cannot join. Character Selection-While joining you must choose a character. They can either be an existing dbz character or someone completely made up. Not all characters will be accepted(probably becuase NPCs or too powerful) Species Skills-All races get special abilities and access to certain transformations. If you have a made up race then these abilities will be determined when you choose your character. Species skills may change later on if you undergo something as massive as cybernetic surgery or are mutated in some way. Hybrids will a mix of abilities from either race but usually not all of either. Not all species skills or species will be accepted. Personality and Alignment-Determined when joining but allowed to change. Your personality is how your character behaves. Whether they're arrogant, kind, quiet, intelligent, short-tempered, etc. Alignment is whether your character is good or evil. If you claim good but start doing evil things in quest I will change it. XP&TP-Xp=experience points and are earned in battle, usually awarded in larger amounts then tp. You may also gain Xp from solving puzzles or succesfully finishing an adventure. Tp are time points, earned by the amount of time you spend questing(1 hour=1 tp). These are harder to earn but can also be obtained in training or by winning tournaments. Tp can be changed into XP but not vice versa(1TP=10XP). Techniques-These abilities(almost always using ki) are what you use to battle(usually, some techniques serve other purposes) in dbz. You start of with a certain amount of tp and xp to spend to obtain your starting techniques. I suggest you pick the basics first(fly, phasing, etc.) or you could find yourself outmatched in alot of aspects. You purchase/invent techniques using tp and xp. The amount of techniques you can have is limited by your intelligence(100 int=1move). Magic techniques can only be learned in quest and drain willpower. Psychic techniques drain your mind. Bio techniques can only be used by people who have Bio as a species skill. Any moves not in the Techniques section must be invented. Moves learned in quest come at reduced cost. Status-This displays what your currently doing-training, inquest, traveling, dead, etc. STATISTICS(stats)-you can increase your stats using xp. Chi(ki)- The following stats make up this stat.. This is how people will determine how powerful you are. Health(hp)-This could just as easily be called your constitution. When this runs out in battle you die. If it falls below 1% of your max without hitting 0 or lower you'll fall unconscious. Strength(str)-This is how powerful your physical hits are. It contributes a great deal to your ki. Agility(agy)-This determines how quick you are. It contributes a great deal to your ki. Intelligence(Int)-This will determine how many techniques you can know at once. Will(Will, if you feel the need to abbreviate will you have problems)- If you don't want to be mind controlled every second you'd best have some willpower. When your will is higher than your opponent's by a significant amount you may get a boost in power and resilience. Items-Items will be bought with zeni. Simply tell me what you wish to buy while your online. All items can be purchased from capsule corp at anytime however you can find shops in quest that offer them for a lesser price. Items can be stolen in quest so be careful. Battles-Battles will have to occur inside quest. There will be no attacking people randomly. When you fight a battle against NPC's or other players I will determine how much XP it was worth. Even losers of the battle gain some XP, the main issue is involvement. Death-When you get killed by another player, NPC, or any other reason you are sent to Yemna who will send you to heaven or hell. To get out of heaven or hell you must A>Be wished out, B>Be ressurected, or C>Perform a task for Dabura or Grandkai depending on where your sent. If you accidentally end up in heaven or hell having not died you'll have to find the exits. Tournaments-Tournaments will occur outside of quest. You'll simply be given someone to fight and you'll have to fight them in 3 days time. If your target does no show up in 3 days you win. If you vanish during those 3 days they win. Tournaments can span as long as 2 weeks and the rewards are normally monetary. When you die in a tournament fight you don't die for real. There are such things as in quest tournaments. These are completely different from the type of tournament talked about here and will usually be explained in quest. Ships-There are regular transports that move between planets. You can ride these for a fee. You can also purchase a ship but unless you have a base you'll have to pay docking fees of 25 zeni a day(there are exceptions).. It takes 72 hours to travel between planets. Bases-These bases do not travel from the place they were purchased or constructed. Capsule Corp does not sell bases. Bases can be equipped with a large array of weaponry and are a good place to store items, especially when part of an alliance. Bases are not impossible to steal from or destroy however it would be very difficult when they are properly equipped. |
