| Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi-Chi, and is Gohan�s little brother. Goten loves to train in martial arts. He quickly develops incredibly strong powers (he just naturally goes Super Saiyan) that enable him to fight alongside the adults in their mission to defend earth. Goten�s best friend is Trunks who is approximately one year older. They are often seen together. Goten goofs around when he fights, especially when fused with Trunks as Gotenks, where he makes up countless silly-named attacks. Pure of heart, he�ll quickly jump into danger to help his friends and family.Goten first appears in the Buu saga. He enters the world martial arts competition. He loves animals very much. It was his mother who taught him the bases of body to body combat. During a time, Goten intended to be the one who was going to eliminate Buu. Goten resembles his father physically and appears as robust as Goku when he was at his age. He loves his brother Gohan enormously and often plays with him. Far from being a model pupil, he rather prefers to have fun with his brother or his friends. But most incredible is that he can become Super Saiyan without any training. He quickly mastered the kamekameha. To take part in the championship of the martial arts, he decided to train with Gohan. Gohan was surprised to see that his brother had a hidden state of incredible combat potential, especially when he transformed into a Super Saiyan in front of his eyes when he did not yet master the technique, the kamekameha. Goten finishes second at the 25th championship of the martial arts, junior category. He also takes part with Trunks, under the name and the costume of Mighty Mask, in the adult championship category. They escape when Android 18 uncovers them. |
