| Tony Hawk's 2 is one of the Playstation's greatest games. While the games has been critised for it's weak point, realism, it more then makes up for it in FUN. Graphics The graphics on THPS2 are absolutely amazing considering the speed the game moves at. All of the levels look better than the originals levels and in all cases the level are twice as big. What I'd see is some of the originals levels (school and san francisco) remodeled and regenerated with THPS2's graphics, now that would be a treat. It's obvious that Neversoft has pushed the little grey box of joy even further than in the original. Gameplay Gameplay wise the game has grown up a lot since the original stole the show back in 1999. A lot, and I mean A LOT of new moves and tricks have been crammed into the game, and most of them look stunning, like the Beni Fflip Crooks, Judo, Airwalk, Madonna Tailslide, Casper and The Fandangle. Officer Dick is back with avengence and Assumme the Position, while secret Private Carrera joins him with her Fifty 5-Ho Grind, and super heroe by day, pro skater by night Spider Man joins the crew doing whatever a spider can! With the 8 levels and 2 secret levels theres the abbility to create your own park to shred. Oh and don't forget you can create your own sk8er to shred it with the other 16 sk8ters. Overall THPS2 out classes it's older brother in every way possible. Now all we have to do is crank this game until THPS3 comes out on PS2. |
