Medal of Honour Review
Medal of Honour is last years surprise hit, it came out of nowhere to become one of the Playstations greatest 1st person shooters. It combines great sound, great gameplay and a great story set back in World War II.

Graphics
Medal of Honour may not have the sharpest grahics of any 1st person shooter but it did make PSX gamers glad that they had a game, and a 1st person shooter, that N64 gamers couldn't get thier grubby mits on. MOH was tittled as Playstations answer to Golderneye, and on some levels MOH toppled Rares masterpiece. Graphics may not of been that level, but MOH had, and still does, the best sound of any 1st person shooter. While the graphics were average, they had the sense that they'd been rushed to met the deadline. Some aspects like the frame rate never put a foot out of place but things like the draw distance rendered the purpose of the sniper rifle useless since it could only zoom about to where the fog was, making the player to get close for sniping people.

Gameplay
Not the best gameplay of a 1st person shooter but still entertaining gameplay. The control system seemed a little rushed, for instance when analog is on sometimes the views starts to rise up until you're facing the sky. The story-line was really one of the games bright spots. It was entertaining and kept the player on the edge of their seats. Some of the characters movements are absolutely hilarious, for instance when you through a grenade and the German will try and kick it back or throw it at you, or when the dogs pick the grenades up in their mouth and do a suicide mission as they run towards you. The AI also makes for an entertaining expearience as enemies will run for cover or ring alarms. There is also a huge variety of weapons to chose from all dating back to the 1940's, including my personal favourite the Shotgun. Other weapons are only found in some levels like the great Mounted anti-aircraft sentri guns.

Overall
Medal of Honour is a great game for the Playstation and anyone who hasen't played it is missing out on a grand expearience.
