Dragonball/Z Movie Legends (Hierarchy)

Hierarchy

Overview: Dragonball's afterlife is a world with heaven, hell, a city, a holy planet and the people that live there. There are gods that exist in this world. And each god has a task in the universe. The highest god is Dai Kaio (in the movies only). He is the master of the Kaios. On each galaxy there are four Kaios who protects their part of the galaxy. Last, there's a god on each living planet that protects it. Kami was the God of Earth in Dragonball/Z, which is now left to Dende. Other beings that exist in the universe (or after-life) is King Yemma, who is the Judge of the City of Hades, the gate keepers of Hell, Heaven and the City of Hades. Fighters who do good in their life get special privileges and keep their bodies after death. Goku spends some time in the After-life in a couple of the DBZ movies.

Kaio Planets- Around the outside of Hades lies four small planets. Each one lies at one end of the galaxy. On each planet lives a Kaio that watches a section of the galaxy. The North Kaio planet is the one where Goku went to meet King Kai. The gravity on these planets are ten times greater than Earth's. It's quite small as Goku can run around it in a few seconds (after getting used to the gravity). Above the City of Hades lies a planet where all the strongest fighters in Hades go to. On that planet lives the most powerful Kaio in the universe...Dai Kaio. Fighters that die and get to keep their bodies come here to train with other fighters from all over the universe. After the Cell Game, they held a After-life Tournament to see who was the better trainer. The fighter to win gets to be trained by Dai Kaio.

The City of Hades- The city of Hades is the gateway to the afterlife. It is connected to everywhere in the cosmos, except the Holy Sphere where the Kaioshins live. With certain exceptions, all who dies come to this entrance to be judged. King Yemma judges each spirit based on what they did in their life. After he makes his judgement he decides where the spirit goes next, which could be to heaven or hell. Next to the city of Hades is an airport where all the people go to heaven or Dai Kaio's planet to take an airplane to either planet. Floating above Hell in the city of Hades is Serpent Road. Serpent Road is the path to King Kai's planet. It's connected to many strange things like Jadoshin's (Princess Snake) castle. If you are not careful, you'll fall into Hell and never come back (normally).

Hell- The geography of Hell consists of bleak, flat plains. The occasional hill or abstract structure layer the sandy, gray floor. In the air, float random land masses, cubes, spheres, and spiccules. The ground varies from brown, to purple, to gray, and the clouds are usually a purple haze. Hell is located beneath the clouds of Hades. You can reach Hell one of two ways: 1) King Yemma sentences you there because of your life record, 2) You fall off of Serpent Road or one of the surrounding floating land masses. Once someone falls into the depths of Hell, there is no escape (Note: There's a secret passage that leads straight to King Yemma's office). Hell has two main guardians that look over the daily events from the comfort of their small outpost. Their names are Mezu and Gozu. Their task is to make sure everyone feels welcome in the realm of eternal suffering. Can't let no one escape, make trouble, and do the paper work. They report to King Yemma if there is trouble.
