This is the galaxy where most of Dragonball/Z took place. I will give you the list of the planets, and descriptions for the planets of this galaxy.
North Galaxy
Planet Meat- This planet was normal, until Bardock wiped out everything upon it, Dodoria attacked Bardock, and killed his force after his mission.
Bardock and his team were assigned to swipe this planet of life by Frieza, who intended for it to be a trap for Bardock. Unfortunately, Bardock's team goes without him because he was still healing from the battle on Planet Kanassa. When Bardock finally reaches the planet, he find that the Meatians had been destroyed, but also finds his teammates dead. Shortly after his discovery, he is attacked by Dodoria and his men, who beated him up and left him for death.
Planet Old Namek-
This planet is home to the slug looking beings called Namekians. Planet Namek was living at peace, until the evil Frieza came along searching for the Dragonballs. Frieza and the Nameks and the Z-Warriors fought to the end. The planet Namek was still destroyed.
Dark Planet- The Dark Planet is so dark that you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. The inhabitants of the star were used to the darkness, and could see clearly. Hatchhyack crashed landed here after the attack of the Saiyans and set up his base. The Z-Warriors came here and destroyed him & the ghost warrior Dr. Raichi.
Planet Konats- This planet appears in movie #13 as homeworld of Tapion and his little brother Minosha. Konats was being terrozied by the giant monster Hildegarn. Tapion and Minosha sacrifice their life to seal the two halves inside themselves and are transported to seperate parts of the galaxy. This planet was not destroyed.
East Galaxy
South Galaxy
West Galaxy
Most of the action in Dragonball/Z takes place in this section of the universe. The following is a list of the known planets, stars, and moons located in the Northen Galaxy.
Planet Old Vegeta (a.k.a. Planet Plant)- Home to the conquering Saiyans, and feeble yet smart specimens Tsufursian. These two races fight and fight, feuding constantly. Until Old Vegeta finally got its full moon. The Saiyans immediately took on their Oozaru form, and quickly defeated the Tsufursian. Frieza later destroyed Old Vegeta, with few Saiyans still alive, those Saiyans were: Goku, Nappa, Vegeta, Brolly, Paragas, Raditz and Turles.
Planet Kanassa-
This fairly large planet was shown at the beginning of the Bardock Special. Home to fish-like creatures with telepathic abilites inhabited it. Bardock and his team were ordered to wipe the planet clean and prepare it for sale on Frieza's market. The Kanassan's were unlucky as full moon came out and transform the Saiyan team into their Oozaru forms, but after that they destroyed them easily. This is where Bardock was cursed (or gifted) with the ability to see into the future.
Planet Earth- This is where most of DB/Z takes place. The villains always come to destroy the planet. Unlike the real earth, the DB/Z Earth is composed of a single continent (the Europian), two smaller ones and two island clusters. The only major landmass on DB/Z Earth is shaped roughly like the Europian continent of this Earth, with a somewhat reduced India, no Korea and Japan. The majority of DB/Z Earth is forrest, grassy plains and rocky, desolate areas. Earth is populated with many different people such as humans, talking animals, androids, nameks and saiyans.
Planet New Namek- After Old Namek is destroyed, the Z-Warriors use the Dragonballs to find a new planet for the Namek. They do and it is pretty much the same thing as the last one, except it only has one sun.
East Kaio, the only Female Kaio in the series, rules over this part of the universe. Only thing known is that Brolly destroyed some of the systems her galaxy.
This is South Kaio's galaxy, and Brolly destroyed most of it and resign here after him and his father escape from Planet Vegeta.
Planet New Vegeta- This planet was named New Vegeta, after Paragus founded it. Not much more to say except, that Brolly destroyed Paragus, and the Comet Gemori destroyed the planet.
Planet Shiamo- This planet is the neighbor of Planet Vegeta. The Shiamons are small weak beings with short mohawks. Brolly used them as slaves to build cities on Planet New Vegeta.
This was West Kaio's (King Kai's arch rival) universe. Pikehan is from this galaxy. Brolly destroyed a few of the planets in this galaxy too.
