He taught Coll how to Sense Ki over an incredible distance, whether they're evil or good, and the general direction.
Sarzez taught Sami the art of Shikan-Idou. That is, Instantaneous Movement. The technique allows a person to lock on to a ki, and teleport instantly to them.
And last but definately not the least, he taught Kincha how to hide his body from enemies. The cloaking ability allows Kincha to bend light rays with his mind so they pass around him, rendering him invisible. Yeah, Vegetus is talking gibberish again.
Sarzez had a bad vision one morning, and awoke with Sami and Kincha. He had a dream that the planet Yardrat would be destroyed by a man with a green eye. Uh oh!
Gehn, the man with the green eye, came in and fought Kincha and Sami for a while. At the same time, Sarzez gathered up the villagers of the small town he was in and bid Sami and Kincha to come with him. They refused and said they'd catch up. Sarzez bid adeiu, and teleported to the moon with a special power that does not use the ki tracking. started losing badly. Gehn removed his hands and fired a large energy blast into the planet, causing it to slowly explode.
Right before the blast, Sami grabbed Kincha and the sleeping Coll, and they teleported to Sarzez, on the planet's moon. There, they talked for a little bit how they could not escape and were doomed.
But Sarzez came up with a plan. He would use an ancient technique he created a long time ago, and would save them all. He would not guarantee that they'd make it, though. But Sami and Kincha took the chance, and so did the townspeople. They all clutched onto Sarzez as the planet Yardrat was ready to finally collapse. There was a bright flash of light, then another bright flash, then both the planet, the moon, and the group were gone. Empty space.
Seconds later, it all returned. Sarzez fell to the ground, exhausted. They helped him up and asked what happened. Sarzez explained they went through time exactly one hour before the incident. It was as far as he could go. He told Sami to go to the planet and get all of the other towns' people up on the moon. He also advised Sami to not go to the village they were at, and to leave the townspeople and their past selves there. Sami did as he wished, and recovered all of the people on the planet using Shikan Idou.
When they all were on the moon, Sarzez asked the duo (trio if you count the snoring Coll) if they knew of anywhere to go. Sami and Kincha grinned and they told Sarzez that they knew a place. So the planet's small population grabbed on to one another, Sami raised two fingers to his forehead, and they abruptly vanished. Minutes later, the past Sarzez, Sami, Kincha, Coll, and the townspeople appeared and the planet started to rumble.
Minutes before, the Yardrat-jin and the remaining Y Gang appear on Kamesennin's isle... There's literally hundreds of them, and the outer ones are struggling to stay dry. Kamesennin and Mist come out of the house, wondering what's going on. Coll finally wakes up and wonders where he is. Sami, Kincha, and Sarzez explain to the three of them.
Now, Sarzez and his people live in an underground cave under Kamesennin's island.
