Round 2
This is the last match in the second quadrant of the tournament. Blink and Sax both step up in the arena, and prepare to fight. Sax walks onto the "ring", wondering why it's called a "ring", because it's a square.
<Blink> Hola!
<Sax> Uhh... yeah.
<Blink> Your're sad, Sax.
<Blink> Don't even know what Hola means!
Note - I changed most of Blink's dialogue because he is really bad with typo's. '"<Blink> dont even knwo what Hole means" Seriously.
The Announcer gives the cue, and they both power up their mighty powers. Blink fakes a punch at Sax's nose... then follows up with a kick to the side of the head... and a leg sweep! Sax falls over... laughing.
<Blink> ...
<Sax> Haha!
Sax runs at Blink, phases behind him, kicks him in the back, then jumps on Blink's head, bouncing off away from it few feet. He manages to hit Blink, but it doesn't do any damage. Blink punches at Sax's face, then phases behind him just before it hits so that it connects with the back of Sax's head. Sax grabs the punch, not even looking. Blink does a spining back hand punch with his left hand to the Side of Sax's head. Sax grabs the other punch, then twirls Blink and throws him in front. Sax charges at Blink, phases behind for a floorsweep. He gets Blink, but it didn't harm him as he backflips into his stance again. Sax phases back some ways, and they stop, facing each other.
<Blink> If I hit you, you're going to feel it!
<Announcer> Although Blink seems to be a powerhouse, Sax is too fast and can't be hit. But when Sax tries to go after Blink... there's no effect! Is it a stalemate? Hmm...
Blink sends a fury of punches Sax's way. Sax dodges each one effortlessly.
<Sax> You just don't learn, do you?
They back off, and Sax begins to power up some more with shimmering auras. Blink dwells on his rage, and his ki aura explodes outwards!
<Sax> Ooo... look at all the pretty lights.
<Audience> Oooh... Ahhh.
<Sax> Hey, Blink. Ya wanna see something I've been working on?
Sax holds his left hand up a little below eye level, and a prism of ki appears above it. His right hand starts to glow yellow, and his eyes glow red and blue. Three energy beams, one of each color, emit into the prism, merging into one white beam that lances out at the opponent. The audience and the other contestants look on this wide-eyed.
<Coll> Wow, pretty attack...
<Coll> Could use some green though...
Blink sticks his hands out and puts up a "Sicadelic" ki barrier!
<Sax> I thought it would be Psyho-delic.
<Coll> Or more green.
The beam connects with Blinks psychadelic [Hah!] deflection. He holds it for a while, but Blink gave way and let a lot of it hit him! He is smashed into the ground. The smoke clears, and he slowly comes out, his orange gi torn up pretty badly at the elbows and knees.
<Sax> You actually let that through, Blink?!?!?! You should be ashamed!
<Blink> All... right... you little s*** head... now you've done it...you've pissed me off... I am going to have to kill you now....
<Sax> Cool!
Note - My characters tend to be a bit violent with each other.
Sax yells, "Well, I'm afraid I can't let you do that again... Feel the Almighty Blues Bomb!" Blink stretches out his hands and puts up a real deflection this time... Pure white energy!
<Sax> Ooo... white... pretty... ugly, that is!
<Sax> Slick move, Blink.
Blink finally disintegrates the blast, and stands, breathing heavily.
<Sax> Feel the Almighty Blues Bomb!
<Announcer> WHAT! Another one?! How can he hold this up?!
<Sax> *turns head* Indefinately.
<Coll> There's no way. Sax is gonna be tapped out if he keeps this up.
Blink looks at the oncoming blast, sticks his hands out to his sides, and fires them out in front him. With a yellow ball of energy, he screams "PHASEING ORB!!!" and lets the massive ammount of energy go at the attack that Sax just sent at him. The two blasts lock on to one another. Sax's blast goes toward Blink, then Blink's goes towards Sax. It evens out in the middle and they stand at a deadlock.
<Sax> Very good! You've been training hard, too!
<Blink> No s***, fool... Remember? We trained at King Kai's together... Stupid ass...
<Sax> Ok, scratch that.
Sax pumps all of his remaining energy into his attack. The beam pushes towards Blink. The Announcer pulls out an umbrella.
<Sax> Hey, Blink! Look behind you, it's Kami! Or Elvis! One of the two, anyway...
Blink throws another massive amount of energy towards Sax. Blink's energy, coming from seemingly out of nowhere, destroys Sax's blast and comes roaring towards Sax. Sax 'roars' at the blast... the crowd hears a loud "Click!" Sax murmers to himself, "Nuts...". He then leaps out of the way.
<Coll> Told ya so.
<Blink> Whats the matter, little boy? Didn't your mother...oops, I mean father, ever tell you not to play with fire?
<Sax> You think you're hot stuff, huh?
<Blink> I dont think, boy...I know!
<Sax> Ooo! He's on FIRE!
The blast strikes the ring, right under Sax's feet. Sax flies at top speed out of the way, but the force at the end finally gets him and he's damaged marginally. The 'square' is decimated. The two float in the air, and the first one to hit the ground is out, whether concious or unconcious.
They both simultaneously clench their fists and push their chests forward, yelling out as the energy being absorbed into their bodies would have had enough energy to destroy the entire island, if it weren't for them being able to control it.
Blink attacks first, firing his yellow 'Phaseing Orb' at Sax. Right before it hits, it phases above Sax, and smashes down above his head.
<Sax> He shot the yellow stuff at me? That's low, even for you, Blink!
Sax throws up a technicolor deflection.
<Sax> Umm... wait... that didn't turn out exactly as I had thought... oh, well.
Sax uses a lot of his energy, and smashes the small blast away.
<Sax> Good. That was easy enough.
<Blink> That's what I wanted you to do... Now you DIE!!!
Sax blinks at... Blink.
<Sax> Huh?
Blink slowly begins yelling out the immaculate words... KA....ME...HA....ME.....HHHHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
<Sax> I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T USE THAT!!
<Blink> And let the blue white energy lose at Sax!
He lets the blue white energy lose at Sax. Sax passes concentrated gas, jetting away, but isn't fast enough. Blink's blast manages to hit Sax head on. Sax is flinged off like a rock from Blink's massive slingshot. Sax creates a large, Namek-shaped hole in the ground where the arena once stood. Running out of energy, and with a huge grin, Blink lets himself fall to the destroyed arena. Sax slowly crawls out of the hole, and passes out. Blink limps over to Sax. He kicks him in the side.
<Announcer> Uhh, errm, uhh... It looks like Blink won the fight! Wow, that was interesting...
<Blink> You had better live, wuss... I dont want to be disqualified!
Kincha flies up to the arena, and pulls out a small, brown sack. He produces a senzu bean, and puts it in Sax's mouth. Sax hops to his feet, and bleeds on Blink while he still can.
<Announcer> Well, that's interesting. Guess we'll need to get a new arena... no problem.
<Blink> Haha... Sorry about that. Didn't mean to kill the arena.
* Sax then shakes Blink's hand. "Good match. I deserved to lose this one."
<Sax> No hard feelings. Kick Coll's @$$ for me, 'k?
<Blink> No prob!
<Announcer> Blink, Sax, Kincha... please move away...
Sax ambles off. Kincha moves away.
<Blink> It's going to be fun!
Blink raises his hand in victory! The Announcer taps his foot impatiently. Blink then moves off sheepishly. The Announcer whips out a small case, and removes a single capsule from it. He looks at it, nods, and throws it.
<Announcer> Hoi!
*POING* A new arena suddenly appears from the small capsule. He wipes his hands, grinning.
<Sax> I knew that would happen.
<Announcer> Now, on for the next match... It is the mysterious Gehn vs the... bald Sami!!
