Anime Expo Update
Looks like the Anime Expo turnes out good after all
Anime Expo was a tremendous success. FUNimation would like to thank all of the fans that visited us at the convention and everyone that waited in line for autographs. Fans were in line for more than 2 hours to get autographs from Chris Sabat, voice of Vegeta, Piccolo and Yamcha, and Sonny Strait, voice of Krillin. Other weekend highlights included, Sabat and Hunter Muse of FUNimation answering questions from fans on a panel Friday morning and Gen Fukunaga, the president of FUNimation, participating in a panel Saturday afternoon with Studio Pierrot, the creators of Yu Yu Hakusho. Muse said, “It was amazing to see the fans’ response. DBZ fans have to be the most loyal, greatest fans around.”
FUNimation’s next stop on the convention tour is Comic Con in San Diego, July 19-22. Eric Johnson, voice of Trunks, Sean Schemmel, voice of Goku and King Kai, and Meredith Thompson, voice of Android 18, will be in the FUNimation booth, number 3700, signing autographs. Please make plans to visit us.Stay plugged in here for more convention
