Updates
Planet Seva has been confirmed to be available for purchase from Amazon.com. I'll credit my source as soon as I find out what she wants to go by! Enjoy!
Planet Seva is now available for purchase from Barnes&Noble.com and appears at Amazon.com. Note that Planet Seva is not available for purchase from Amazon just yet, but you can view the details and review the book. I will try to update again when I learn of the Amazon purchase release. If you find out before I update, I'd appreciate notification. You will be credited for any information that you provide that is used.
You may have noticed the "Updates" heading above. I decided that the previous layout of updates was slightly confusing, so I modified it. This is where updates will appear from now on until another layout change occurs. I hope this helps.
Message board: Click here to register at the Jeqo message board! I've added several new areas to the message board, and more will be forthcoming when more comes from Jeqo. Any suggestions will be welcomed. Registering is free and there is no spamming! If you get board when there are no updates on the site, then you could check out the message board. I don't always have stuff to update with, but be assured that when I do I put it up in a timely manner. In the mean time, there's the comments page and the Message board to keep in contact with me or any other visitors of the site.
There is now a page devoted to Planet Seva: Click here to visit the Planet Seva page.
Welcome to Jeqo.com. As you can see, the background needs resizing... but other than that, everything appears to be functional, or at least this page if you're reading it. This site currently houses the web site for "Jeqo", which we'll just call "The collective group of persons and merchandise produced by or with request or consent of C. A. E. Jones."
At the moment, the site is concerned with Planet Seva, the first book of C. A. E. Jones's on the way to being published. We here at Jeqo (Curtains are drawn to hide an astounding four people behind me.) also plan to create a movie based on this book and those that follow. Currently, the final steps are being taken in the publication of the book.
Ok, so who am I? Who is C. A. E. Jones? What is this book supposed to be about? Should I go ahead and push the "Back" button on my browser and speed away from this nut house? And does the picture of the stars and "planets" tell me something that I may or may not care for?
First two questions. I am C. A. E. Jones, but it is much easier on the internet to refer to me as Cajones. What those letters stand for is for me to know and you to discover by any means you desire. (A simple "What is your name?" will do. ^_^) Planet Seva is the first book in a trilogy of my design. I'm not good with giving summaries... that's how many plot twists I want to hide. Also, it's hard to tell anything about it without giving false impressions. The following paragraphs will be concerned primarily with Planet Seva and the trilogy to which it belongs. Oh, and you really shouldn't have anything to fear because of the picture, =), though it is relevant. Just let me explain before concluding anything, K?
Planet Seva chronicles the story of two teenagers (Royce and Uasho), who are making an attempt to stop a war between two powerful nations. Ok, Royce wanted to stop it, and he kind of made Uasho help him... Anyways, the two of them end up getting a ride to the border of the country that theirs is attacking when they are forced to bail. At this point, it looks like our heroes are lost, their plan foiled and all hope floating out the window. But it turns out that something even bigger is in store for our young heroes.
They are found by a man claiming to be from another galaxy (Though his scaled scalp and inhuman eyes aren't quite convincing), and he reveals that he knows that Uasho and Royce are all that there is of the order of the seven, a group of people that are basically supposed to try and put a stop to as much evil as possible. He also reveals that the people of his galaxy have been watching Earth, disgusted by some of its many flaws. The order of the seven is but one of the groups they have discovered that they find valuable to the salvation of Earth, and they are invited to come to visit the galaxy of Esrevni, a place that is supposed to be free of evil and pain. But we all know that it's never that easy. Plot twists and mysterious havoc follow, leading to one big question: What's going on?
AND THIS ISN'T A SPACE STORY! Actually, it seems to appeal more to the "Realistic and character relationship" people than the fantasy/sci fi/action seekers. But there is a fair bit of those in it as well. Action and Sci/Fi fans will find it mildly interesting, but know that it is the first in a set of three. An interesting problem is that the second is much less of what the first is. It is loaded with action and the such, but also contains a fair bit of plot and character. But the third, in my opinion, will please the most people. It has a deep plot, a lot of characterization, and a plethora of action that will keep you... interested at the least. Come on, you have to read it! If only to understand the second two.
Planet Seva should be available in stores any time now... and on the internet as well in electronic formats such as PDF and rocket reader. I'll post the price when it is decided upon, unless of course that's illegal...
Now that we're through with the book hyp...
How would you like to get involved in the production of the movie or its sequels? Heck, the trilogy might not be the only films produced by Jeqo (But don't count on otherwise). We are low-budget, inexperienced, and have very few people. If you're looking for loads of cash, then you're betting on ticket sales. If you're looking for someplace to get started in the movie business, then you want to start small, which is what we are! We'll need all the help we can get, though we can handle it on our own with some luck. Anyone interested, just drop me a line at [email protected], or leave a comment in the Comments page or the Message Board. Odds are that you won't be turned down without a flood of applicants.
So, what else is in the works? Well, drafts of the sequels to Planet Seva are undergoing final edits and will probably be available in a short time. I plan to release the first book in December of 2003 or January of 2004. The movie will probably not be ready until 2005, and then I'm going to wait for Star Wars III to cool down before releasing it. The second two movies should be filmed during 2004 and 2005, possibly into 2006. The second two books will wait a while to see the public and will probably be released shortly before their respective movies.
Now, drawing away from the trilogy for a bit, I have also released two short stories in large quantity (About four or five copies each) to a few people locally. I plan on revising those and actually doing something with them. If I can't get good length from them, then they'll be joined into a book of tales. These should be some of the next things that are out. I also plan to rewrite a "novel" that is a bit short and in need of rewriting. (I turned that one in as a writing project in English last year, in case that matters to you.) I also have a series on the way that should really be a comic, but for the moment it's under development.
As you may be able to tell, there is a bit of ambiguity there. Perhaps the biggest project you have a chance of seeing in the near future is (I'm not telling the name just yet.). It's definitely on the fantasy side. Basically, I have my own little universe, and I'm writing about everything that happens in it up to a point. It is basically a world that one might call mythical, governed by "gods" of varying power. There will be tales of major events in the history, but it should focus primarily around two groups of people and their adventures. It should end up with a bit of everything within it. I will post the title some time soon.

Be on the look out for Planet Seva!
