Survival by the Fittest by Jonathan Kellerman
However, if you are a little bit more faint-hearted, you should try books with a milder topic....such as classics. My favourites classic book is Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre. It's about this young lady, as a governess...and eventually falling in love. But the classic of all time is Gone With The Wind. There's a movie, too. Which is my favourite movie ever ;)
