We are an alliance of support groups and chapters throughout Florida for individuals with mood disorders and their family/ friends/concerned others.
DBSA support groups provide crucial sharing and caring important for mental health wellness. We are here to help those with mood disorders in Florida.
DBSA groups provide the chance to reach others with similar problems and benefit from the experiences of others. They can provide motivation for following treatment plans and help in the understanding that mood disorders do not define the person.
Support groups are not a substitute for professional care, but can assist in recovery. DBSA chapters and support groups do not endorse or recommend use of any specific treatment or medication so for advice about specific treatment or medication, individuals should consult their physicians and/or mental health professionals.
