What is plaguarism?

Introduction

Over the course of the next several weeks, you will be expected to chose a research topic, complete the research and present your research to the class in the form of a PowerPoint slide show.

Choosing your topic

You may choose any topic I approve within the fields of anatomy, physiology or medicine. You must answer a specific question within the topic.

EXAMPLE-topic-breast cancer-question-What are the newest treatments?

Requirements

Your Presentation will include no fewer than 12 and no more than 14 slides.

You must include:

  • #1 title slide
  • #2 overview slide
  • #3-10,11,12-your research
  • Second from last-Conclusion, answer to your question
  • Last-Bibliography-see below for the format I want you to use. One source must be a primary source AKA an academic journal source.  See how to find one below
  • Each source must be evaluated by you.  Print out sheet below.

What is a Primary Source??

A primary source is an article written by the scientist or doctor that actually did the research that the article describes.  It will usually found in a publication called journal.  Example: New England Journal of Medicine
