My Marathon Advice ....

#1    Advice, Don't Give It.

#2    Train with Friends

#3    Train with Friends that believe in you and will push you.

#4    Do speed work outs once a week.

#5    Do some short runs regularly, at least 3 times a week(2 to 5 miles)

#6    Run a long run once a week of 10 miles or more

#7   Drink plenty of fluids(not just water) on training runs and during the actual   
      marathon. 

#8  Eat something on long training runs, perhaps a running bar, or orange
