Hattiesburg, MS - Threatening rain clouds did not keep 21 Mississippi Modifieds from showing up Friday night at Southern Speedway. After a wreck took us out of contention last weekend, we were looking forward to getting back on track and were in a good position to do so with a second row starting spot in the 10 car heat race. But an up and down season for the 33D JetMod team reached a new low on this night as the motor lost oil pressure during hotlaps and spun a rod bearing. This will sideline us for a few weeks until we can get a new motor built and ready to compete. |
