A little while back, I was surfing the net and came across an amazing website. At first, I read open-mindedly, and appreciated the advice about getting my sink shiny clean. I even somewhat agree about getting up and dressed almost every morning. But as I delved further into the site, I came to a realization. This woman has completely and totally lost her mind. Personally, I don't think it's a woman at all. I think it's a bunch of men who are smart enough to know that if we knew they were men, they would mysteriously cease to exist.
First of all, I'm not going to get dressed up and apply makeup to scrub the toilet. I'm not going to put on my best duds to clean the gutters. I'm sorry, but it's not going to happen. I also refuse to wear my shoes from the second I get up until the time I go to bed. If I didn't have to wear shoes to work, I wouldn't. I will leave my slip-ons by the back door, and that will be my only concession.
In conclusion, if the next time I have to pick my husband up at work because he's too sick to drive, I happen to be wearing my laundry washing, floor scrubbing, stained up t-shirt and shorts with a 'do atop my nugget to rival Don King, then so be it. As far as I'm concerned, FlyLady can kiss my paint spattered butt!
