He was born with club radial hands and missing radii. He had a trachea-esophageal fistula repaired at birth. He has only one kidney. He has to be fed via g-tube. He has a trach, to let him breathe easier. He also has hydrocephalus but had a v-p shunt that is taking care of the excess fluid on his brain. His only chance is a bone marrow transplant. The transplant will help him from getting leukemia or aplastic anemia. He does not have a matched sibling donor and his chances are only 30%. Please remember our family in your prayers.
He is a very happy, loving, good-natured, wonderful little boy.
